At the age of twenty I began a long career as a modern dancer. This work greatly informed my sense of space and how we interact with it. I also developed a parallel career working as a Set Decorator/Designer. I love creating environments, imagining the character's past experiences, present circumstances, hopes, sorrows, and aspirations. My goal is to design intentional spaces which inform both performer and audience, whether directly or subconsciously.
